An Aviation Classic

Monday 07 January 2013

The Avigation Watch Type A-7 marks Longines' latest addition to its strong catalogue of aviation timepieces.

Inspired by 1930s watches that bore the moniker 'Type A-7' - given to them by the US Army to denote adherence to stringent quality and precision tests - with this latest timepiece Longines has striven to meet the same high standards.

The model features an off-set dial to ensure ease of readability without having to move the wrist.

The large and fluted crown allows the watch to be easily manipulated, even when wearing thick gloves, while the large white numerals allows for high legibility during turbulence or poor light.

The Avigation Watch Type A-7 will retail in the UK for £3,090.
