Superstar footballer and Audemars Piguet ambassador Leo Messi was voted the world's best footballer of 2012 by a panel of judges, receiving the prestigious Ballon d'Or prize for a record-breaking fourth consecutive time on 7 January.
Honouring one of the most renowned sportsman of our generation, last year Audemars Piguet launched the Royal Oak Chronograph Leo Messi Limited Edition, available in steel, pink gold and platinum.
The tenth of the platinum edition will be auctioned this spring, accompanied by a signed football jersey bearing Messi's iconic number 10, with all proceedings from the sale going towards the Leo Messi Foundation, an organisation set up to help deprived children around the world.
