Chopard reopened its Rue du Rhône boutique in Geneva last Saturday following a renovation in keeping with the brand's new decoration concept.
The concept, conceived by French architect Thierry W. Despont, was first launched at the brand's flagship store on Madison Avenue in 2007, and has since been applied to all new openings.
Designed to recreate the charm of visiting a beautiful private home, with well-defined areas showcasing haute joaillerie creations, watches and accessories, the Geneva boutique continues this modern and opulent feel.
The store has undergone extension work doubling the sales area, allowing more space for visitors to view Chopard's latest pieces.
Renowned opera singers Anna Netrebko, José Carreras and Erwin Schrott joined the Scheufele family in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, with the three stars going on to perform at a benefit concert the following night in celebration of the reopening of the boutique.
The concert took place at Geneva's Victoria Hall on behalf of the José Carreras International Foundation for the Fight against Leukaemia and the Anna & Erwin Foundation - Anna Netrebko and Erwin Schrott for Kids.
