With the Chronomètre Optimum, F.P. Journe has incorporated a number of exceptional high-precision components into one timepiece for the first time.
The watch contains a double barrel, with its two springs ensuring stability of the driving force of the Calibre 1510 movement.
The patented EBHP High-Performance Bi-Axial Escapement not only functions without lubricant, but also has a greater output compared to most escapements, while the constant-force remontoire balances the driving force applied to the escapement to make it constant.
The watch is available with a choice of red gold or platinum case, with the wheel of the constant-force remontoire visible on the face of the dial.
