When A. Lange & Söhne launched the outsize date with its asymmetric dial, inspired by the Five-Minute Clock in Dresden's Semper Opera House, it quickly became a classic design.
However, until now, the complex mechanism behind the function remained hidden beneath a solid dial. Now, the Grande Lange 1 'Lumen', in a limited edition of 100 platinum watches, is about to be launched.
