The anticipation of what Vacheron will unveil next in the Métiers d'Art series grows year on year, and 2013's Legend of the Chinese Zodiac should continue to impress as the brand introduces the first symbol in the 12-year cycle - the Year of the Snake model.
Vacheron Constantin's engravers and enamellers have worked in alternating pairs on the watch, which will be issued in two 12-piece limited editions - in pink gold or platinum - available exclusively through Vacheron boutiques.
Hands-free, time is read through four windows that respectively reveal the hour, the minutes, the day and the date - the first two of these indications are dragging, the last two are jumping. The piece is powered by the Calibre 2460 G4.
